Trevor joins Emergence after a long insurance industry career, including with primary insurers, brokers, underwriting agencies and 20 years with General Reinsurance Australia in senior roles in Melbourne and Korea.
Trevor says: “Having spent the last two years in broking as a senior account manager for professional risks, including cyber, I understand the challenges facing brokers and, in particular, explaining the vital need for a cyber product to their clients.”
He is excited to join a growing, niche organisation like Emergence and relishes the opportunity to help the agency further build its strong support base among Melbourne brokers.
Emergence founder and Managing Director Troy Filipcevic says Trevor’s appointment signals Emergence’s continued investment in appointing senior, cyber-focused people to help brokers provide adequate cover to clients.
“The Melbourne office brings Emergence’s national footprint to four offices, with Newcastle opening last August and now Melbourne, complementing Sydney and Brisbane. As the Victorian business grows, we’ll expand the Melbourne team,” Troy said.

Trevor will play a key role in supporting Emergence’s Victorian broker partners and underwriting enterprise clients, schemes and group programs.
